A home is not a mere transient shelter: its essence lies in the personalities of the people who live in it. — H. L. Mencken

Welcome to Genefaith’s Home. It’s a journal of how the author lives her life. It’s a blog about the author’s family journey towards making their dreams come true. She may not live in a beautiful home (not yet) but she wanted to show to the readers that she’s happy and contented because she has someone to love and share it with. With God by her side, she could make any place a good home.

This is my family. We’re Filipinos , currently making a living as ESL teachers and residing in Thailand. We’re blessed with a wonderful son named, Hyzyd. He’s 2 years old and you can read his updates at Adventures with Hyzyd and Beyond.

We lived in a city. We rented a house with 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, small living room and no kitchen so we make use of our large backyard for kitchen. Nonetheless, we love it to bits because it’s cheaper, we have place for gardens , Hyzyd got his own sandbox and spacious playground, peaceful neighborhood and our landlady is very friendly and accommodating.

Hope you’ll feel at home in here. If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to email me at genefaith@yahoo.com.
